Myth Vs Fact

Myth Vs Fact

Unfortunately, many erroneous beliefs still persist among people. Myths are often derived from word of mouth or the dependence on being passed down from generation to generation. For example, it has been said that eating hot pepper will help cure the flu and this has been traditionally handed down from one generation to the next generation without any scientific reasoning.
Myths commonly start or are passed on in the form of a story that gradually develops into a firm belief. Myths are generally started to explain away something or to give a sense of understanding for something. Facts can be derived either by accident or by simply gathering evidence to explain something. Just because some things are considered as myth does not make it wrong as a myth cannot be contradicted just as it cannot be proven.
It is said that heaven is a myth because its existence is impossible to prove in life. Whereas a wrong fact can be contradicted as it was also believed that the world was flat that became fact for the people but by being able to disprove the fact the opposite which came that is the world is round. Myths originate from generational thoughts and beliefs while facts are given as evidence.
For early individuals, myths resembled science since they clarified how normal events function. Today we don't generally know whether myths are valid or not. A portion of the stories or characters may appear to be impossible, and science gives us distinctive clarifications for some of our inquiries. But people everywhere throughout the world still get a kick out of the chance to peruse myths and us as a whole like to consider what they might mean. A myth is a holy story since it holds religious or spiritual significance for the individuals who let it know. Myths likewise add to and express a culture's systems of thought and values.
A myth can be an aggregately held belief that has no basis actually. This utilization, which is frequently derisive, emerged from naming the religious myths and beliefs of different societies as mistaken, however, it has spread to cover non-religious beliefs too. On account of this famous and subjective word utilization, many individuals disapprove when the stories they accept to be genuine are called myths.

Although a few myths can be records of genuine events, they have turned out to be changed by typical importance or moved in time or place. Myths are often used to clarify universal and neighborhood beginnings and include supernatural beings. The immense force of the importance of these stories, to the culture in which they created, is a major reason behind why they survive as long as they do - in some cases for thousands of years.
